Looking for a way to engage your ADHD middle schooler and encourage reading at the same time?
Here’s your chance! Visit the Atlanta Comic Convention on February 9, 10, & 11, to get into the fantasy genre that may be the “Golden Ticket” to getting your reluctant reader into reading.
It gives kiddos a chance to dress up (if wanted), see movie and TV personalities some books are based on, and find creative ways to engage students.
Light Up Literature™ Curriculum will be there at Booth 1539. Definitely stop by and visit us. Debra Shepherd will be there to answer questions and hang out. At the booth you will find novel study puzzle books to build reading comprehension and vocabulary while playing puzzle games.
There will be authors and artisans there too! Learning isn’t just about grades (although they are important). It’s also about seeing what is out there and trying new things along the way.
If you can’t make it to the Atlanta (ComCon), make it to one close to you!
